Name: JaoT (pronounced Jay-Oh-Tee)
JaoT was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. Coming from less than an ideal home situation, he has made great strides in his personal life. Plagued by frequent moving, family drug addiction, and abusive environments, JaoT now channels that pain and energy into his music to move past historic problem and deal with the residual issues that developed from such a troubled childhood. He has always been academically advanced, and it shows in the lyrics of his art. JaoT's first EP titled BIPOetic was released in October of 2018, followed timely by the release of two singles and the full length album The Saga of JaoT in October of 2019. The latest and greatest of his discography is BIPOetic 2nd Dose which is a concept album that takes listeners on a roller-coaster ride of twist and turns as JaoT works through his problems with a therapist in short skits throughout the project.
