St. Louis native JAYLIEN holds quite a few titles on his résumé: rapper, singer, songwriter, producer, & composer. In the studio, he has produced/written for, Britney Spears, Ty Dolla Sign, Chris Brown, T-Pain, Snoop Dogg, Akon & more. His standout achievements behind the boards include producing & writing the single "Beautiful" by Akon. In 2013 he went on to co-write the song "Scream & Shout" featuring will.i.am & Britney Spears. "Shout" went on to sell close to 4 million singles in the US alone.
In 2013, Jaylien founded imprint, BlessandSee Music. He’s responsible for the signing & developing of GOOD Music's Kacy Hill, also producing her breakout single "Experience," which led to her signing w/Kanye West.
In 2015 JAYLIEN decided to focus on his own music as a solo artist . He released his debut EP on July 15th ,the ‘Summer's Over’ EP . In the summer of 2018 JAYLIEN took time to put the finishing touches on his second project, “Summer’s Over 2” released November 2018.
The pandemic of 2020-21 left everyone in dismay. Between the Covid epidemic, civil unrest, & a break up from his girlfriend of 5-6 years JAYLIEN went into pause mode….but to heal he soon began to record new material. Early 2022 JAYLIEN got the opportunity to work on DONDA 2 with Kanye West in Los Angeles. After those Donda sessions JAYLIEN began putting the finishing touches on the new material. “Take Me With You” released on May 6th & was followed by a 10-song album called “The Blue Project” .
