Thanks for checking us out! We are JBAG, a London-based Franco-Italo duo comprising of Jerry Bouthier & Andrea Gorgerino.
We have long-lasting musical bromance after having bonded over shared inspirations such as balearic, disco, house, funk, electro, synth-pop, new-wave… and a deep fondness for melody.
Pioneer of the Parisian balearic/rave scene, Jerry Bouthier is part of the Kitsuné family, sound designer for fashion (Vivienne Westwood etc) as well as A&R of CONTINENTAL RECORDS.
A classically trained musician Andrea Gorgerino (originally from Turin) made the studio his home and has been an in-demand engineer/producer since (from club sounds to Italian pop via film scores).
We have remixed the likes of Sparks, Kylie, Two Door Cinema Club, S-Express, Ladyhawke etc
After having embraced electroclash (our residency at the London club BoomBox) and galvanised by Belgian and Scandi new disco, we went baleariscopop, our ambitious hybrid of balearic, disco and indie-pop.
A sound developed on our label CONTINENTAL with singles from visiting pals (Adamski, RÜFÜS du Sol, Kamp!, Scarlet Fantastic, Romuald…) as well as rising talents (Bleu Toucan, Reflex, Club Domani, Mannequine…).
