JD Woodbine is the solo project of Daniele Sabatelli, a young songwriter from Puglia who transforms his restlessness into sound. His songs, suspended between voodoo blues, dark folk, and twilight soul, evoke timeless New Orleans smoke, ghosts, and decadent romanticism. Inspired by artists like C.W. Stoneking, Howlin' Wolf, Timber Timbre, and Screamin' Jay Hawkins, JD Woodbine constructs a microcosm where the occult and sentiment intertwine in an intimate and magnetic ritual. In his lyrics, he explores the shadowy areas of the human soul—fears, desires, and visions we prefer to hide—reminding us that even in darkness, we are never truly alone.
