Jeremiah Fraites is a co-founder, songwriter, composer, and multi-instrumentalist of the GRAMMY®-nominated, multi-platinum band The Lumineers. Since forming the group in 2005 with Wesley Schultz, he has helped shape their globally recognized sound, co-writing hits like “Ophelia,” “Cleopatra,” and “Stubborn Love,” and performing to sold-out arenas and festivals worldwide. Fraites’ solo debut Piano Piano (2021) and its follow-up Piano Piano 2 (2024) both debuted at #1 on Billboard’s Classical Crossover Albums chart showcasing his cinematic piano style and multi-instrumental versatility.

In 2025, Fraites expanded into film scoring with two major projects: Scott Cooper’s Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere (20th Century Studios) and Francis Lawrence’s adaptation of Stephen King’s The Long Walk (Lionsgate). These works mark a bold new chapter, bringing his narrative instincts and emotional depth to the screen.

Born and raised in Ramsey, New Jersey, Fraites first fell in love with the piano as a child and later taught himself drums and guitar. Whether writing chart-topping songs, solo compositions, or film scores, he continues to explore themes of vulnerability, memory, and human connection.
