JET JAGUAR was formed in 2014 and hails from Cancún, Mexico. That same year, the band uploaded the demo “Call Of The Fight”, and in 2016, their <a href="spotify:album:7sWlEh2yIRrPiPRmCMTHfg" data-name="Zero Hour">Zero Hour</a> EP was released.
In 2017, JET JAGUAR received worldwide recognition by becoming the first Hispanic-American band to ever win the Wacken Open Air Metal Battle in Germany. The band also embarked on their first European Tour.
During 2018, JET JAGUAR performed in some festivals throughout Mexico, including the "Corona Hell & Heaven Fest"; this was followed by their first gig at the Lunario del Auditorio Nacional, one of the most important venues for emerging artists in Mexico.
In 2019, the band focused on producing their debut album "Endless Nights", mixed and mastered by Swedish producer Henrik Udd (<a href="spotify:artist:5HFkc3t0HYETL4JeEbDB1v" data-name="Powerwolf">Powerwolf</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:2o18h28enlHxj887tATc58" data-name="HammerFall">HammerFall</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:1Ffb6ejR6Fe5IamqA5oRUF" data-name="Bring Me The Horizon">Bring Me The Horizon</a>). Released in July 2020 under German label Pride & Joy Music, the album reached #8 in Finland, #16 in Portugal, #17 in Greece, and #36 in the Czech Republic on Deezer and iTunes digital charts.
After the Covid-19 pandemic, the band returned to Germany to perform at Headbangers Open Air, toured Europe once more, performed at Wacken Open Air for a second time, and supported <a href="spotify:artist:0maNhqGx60ucjS4UaAH6cP" data-name="Anvil">Anvil</a> during the European leg of their 2024 tour.
In early 2025, Jet Jaguar signed with renowned German label Steamhammer, home to legendary bands such as <a href="spotify:artist:6SYbLA9utoNsllunR1TnkM" data-name="Sodom">Sodom</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:7954VFaZClkL503srfV5PE" data-name="Running Wild">Running Wild</a>. Their second album, "<a href="spotify:album:56csvSlQePblyNqsyS5r9P" data-name="Severance">Severance</a>", stands as a testament to the band’s perseverance and ambition within the metal scene.
