Jiddan Grim, birth name Leonardo Clarke was born on January 4, 1999, hails from Castle Heights, Kingston, Jamaica, and later relocated to Portmore, St. Catherine. Deeply rooted in Jamaica’s rich musical culture, Jiddan Grim discovered his passion for music at a tender age. Jiddan's early exposure to sound and performance was shaped during his years at Waterford High School, where Jiddan was an active member of the school choir—an experience that helped sharpen Jiddan's vocal discipline and stage confidence.

Jiddan Grim officially began his musical journey in 2017, driven by a relentless desire to reach the peak of his creative and artistic potential. Blending raw emotion, street realism, and melodic versatility, Jiddan Grim’s sound reflects both his personal experiences and the evolving energy of modern dancehall.
