Borne out of the vibrant rave scene in the east of England in the 1990’s, Jimmy started to make his impact in the early 2000’s. After setting strong foundations MCing at illegal raves and warehouse parties, Jimmy found his spiritual home at the world’s longest running D&B club, Warning in his hometown of Cambridge. There he honed his craft, performing alongside stellar acts such as DJ Guv, INJA and MCs Azza & Grima. The success of Jimmy’s sets led to a label residency at the club.
In 2010, Jimmy pushed things forward by founding the label Audio Danger Records. Utilising Jimmy’s ear for a banger, ADR released early monsters from Hybrid Minds, Monns, Voltage and UK don, INJA, providing a springboard to the majors for these burgeoning acts. With a nod to Jimmy’s love of hip-hop, ADR also released a solo EP from the man himself, produced by UK rap legends Dirty Dike and Pete Cannon.
From iconic clubs such as Ministry of Sound and Hospitality, to massive festivals such as Beats for Love and Let It Roll Slovakia, Jimmy Danger has graced the stages of some of the most hallowed venues in the game. MCing alongside major league dons such as Andy C, Hedex, Lenzman and Bou, a 14-year long residency at the epic Switch club in Vienna positioned Jimmy to become a pivotal figure in the central European scene, spitting fire in clubs in Austria, Germany, Slovakia, Czechia and Belgium
