J.J. Pfeifer a/k/a Helmut VonLichten is an 8X Emmy winner and co-founder of underground bands E.S. Posthumus and Les Friction. He has opened Super Bowls with Jay Z , Brian May and Jennifer Hudson. He has composed themes for the NFL on CBS, The Masters, Thursday Night

Early on, with interest in archaeology as a profession, he was befriended by a Japanese record producer at UCLA who convinced him that his calling was composing and, as such, offered him full time work. J.J. has continued to meet inspiring people along the way including his most recent introduction to an Israeli-American film director who offered him his first feature film score opportunity.
