JoAnne Lorenzana is one of the Philippines’ noted versatile female performers, a proponent of OPM or Original Pilipino Music in the MID-80s to the 90’s when the strong proliferation of Filipino music compositions reached its peak in every aspect of media. JoAnne is best remembered for her hit songs: I'll Never Let You Go (which stayed at NO.1 in radio charts for 2 months), You, Kung Alam Mo Lang, Bayan Ko (an award-winning revival version), Back In Your Arms, Sapat Sa Akin Lahat, Without Your Love, and Goodtimes, Badtimes (a mid-90's dance hit aired on music video channels across 53 countries). She has represented the country in two song festivals, recorded commercial jingles, performed throughout the Philippines & abroad during her active musical career (1985-2000).
In 2010, after a long hiatus, JoAnne released her 5th album "Between Seasons" under their label NeoMONDE Productions. Only last February, she released a new composition - “My Everyday Valentine”, a collaboration with songwriter Jimmy Borja. On the anniversary of the song this year 2022, JoAnne partnered with the SAVE The Children charity where a portion of the sales will go to said organization aiming to help transform children's lives.
