Born in San Francisco, California, Jocelyn Enriquez is a pioneering Filipino-American artist and San Francisco’s “Queen of Freestyle,” known for bringing dance music to the mainstream in the 1990s. Discovered by Classified Records, she made her debut with Lovely (1994), featuring hits like “I’ve Been Thinking About You” and “Make It Last Forever.” Her 1996 breakout single “Do You Miss Me?” led to her second album, Jocelyn (1997, Tommy Boy Records), which included the Billboard Dance chart-topper “A Little Bit of Ecstasy.” She has toured internationally, shared the stage with NSYNC, Destiny’s Child, Brandy, CeCe Peniston, Crystal Waters, The Fujees, and Backstreet Boys, and collaborated on the 54 soundtrack. Now based in San Antonio, Texas, Jocelyn continues to create music while serving in full-time ministry with her husband and four children including a grandbaby.
