John War is an indie rock artist and music producer from San Diego, California. His debut album, Fantasy, was released in July 2020.
War's first musical projects included a punk band called The Socialists & an experimental lo-fi group named Range Rover. After interning for a Swedish pop producer in college, War's musical focus turned to blending hi-fi pop approaches into DIY rock music. After three unreleased albums, Fantasy is War's debut album to the public.
Outside of his solo work, John War produces in <a href="spotify:artist:1E6f2cQiLomrBegxciK0Mk" data-name="Best Picture">Best Picture</a>, and also engineers/produces for other artists.
