Johnny Mafia, the incandescent French rock band, is back with an explosive new album entitled "2024: Année du Dragon".
Founded by four high-school students, Johnny Mafia quickly established an unshakeable reputation as a live act.
With over 500 concerts to their credit, they have won over audiences across France and beyond with Paleo Festival (CH), Les Eurockéennes (FR), Les Vieilles Charrues (FR), FME Festival (CA), The Great Escape (UK), ESNS (NL), Zandari Festa (KR), Waves Vienna (AT), MaMA (FR).
After three landmark albums, Johnny Mafia has become the spearhead of an ever-evolving French music scene.
Their second opus, recorded by Jim Diamond (The White Stripes, The Sonics) was widely acclaimed by the specialist press.
But it was with their third album, recorded at Warmaudio studio under the guidance of talented producer Kris Banel, that the band reaffirmed their singularity.
"2024:AnnéeduDragon", Johnny Mafia's fourth opus, was recorded and produced by Francis Caste.
With their infectious energy and catchy melodies, Johnny Mafia continue to push the boundaries of French rock.
The label record NMAS has been lucky enough to partner them on this adventure, with distribution handled by BacoDistribution & Howlin' Banana.
