Johnny Nasty Boots

Johnny Nasty Boots is a Los Angeles-based independent rock artist. originally from Mexico City. His
music brings the roots of the psychedelic and blues sounds of the 60's and 70's to the present day, creating an energetic and modern rock n’ roll sound.

His debut album recorded at Sonic Ranch (Texas), produced by the Grammy winner Yunuen Viveros, co-produced by Johnny, &amp; mastered at Vlado Meller’s studio by Jeremy Lubsey, it was promoted with 6 singles, including <a href="spotify:track:7fefvAbzTF7gZuXb1AlFWs" data-name="Deadline">Deadline</a>. Becoming Reactor 105.7 FM&#39;s (Mexico City&#39;s #1 rock station) song of the year 2018, the single gave him notoriety in the mexican rock scene.

After moving to L.A, in 2022 he performed in every possible spot leading to him being noticed in the LA Rock scene, becoming part of the 60th Anniversary celebrations of the Whisky A Go-Go along with <a href="spotify:artist:1nyQBzKgZ2hBLr7PnyV7cI" data-name="Strawberry Alarm Clock">Strawberry Alarm Clock</a>.

He released <a href="spotify:track:51TfMeXV7zIopd1jdJRfmA" data-name="Soho">Soho</a> and <a href="spotify:track:5MkjJZ186lUsBDg7pDuXZx" data-name="Howlin&#39; and Dying">Howlin&#39; and Dying</a> in 2024, from his
upcoming EP &#34;Self Portrait&#34; (Summer 2025). The EP is produced by Johnny, recorded with Grammy
winner Mark Rains (<a href="spotify:artist:1tpXaFf2F55E7kVJON4j4G" data-name="Black Rebel Motorcycle Club">Black Rebel Motorcycle Club</a>) at Station House, mixed by <a href="spotify:artist:57vhIhkzqXdrZnLoD0yl9C" data-name="Alain Johannes">Alain Johannes</a> (<a href="spotify:artist:4pejUc4iciQfgdX6OKulQn" data-name="Queens of the Stone Age">Queens of the Stone Age</a>). He was invited to tour with <a href="spotify:artist:1FwGBBwUviGVIeDIByO7u7" data-name="Faster Pussycat">Faster Pussycat</a> as their direct opener on 32 shows all over the united states. Later in the year, he toured Argentina for the first time on a 7 show run and an electric mini set live on national TV with a ratings peak.

He is currently promoting “Lovers (On The Road)” with a tour in Europe as the opening act for <a href="spotify:artist:1luMfZzXgQ3AkGOHN3b4lQ" data-name="Corky Laing">Corky Laing</a> of <a href="spotify:artist:7LCp4MN0SOIVWlssid9KyE" data-name="Mountain">Mountain</a> in May.
