Jon Doe started out buying records in 1991, mixing them in 1992, shopping mainly at Movement records in Southampton. Later working in the studio above Movement and then using my own home studio. In 1998 this merged with Alphamagic in Hayes for one year, then moving back out to work independently. Highlights include the D series, remixing for Tidy Trax and the seminal Red Snapper remix for K90. Other projects include CLSM (Hardcore rave) which had wider values to push for Hard music on Radio1 which succeeded in creating a weekly show for Kutski. CLSM also pushed for magazine exposure for the scene in Dj mag and on tv as Underground TV on Sky. CLSM started an mp3 store in 2002 and followed the mp3 revolution to create 'hardscape', charting an album of that music in the iTunes chart, the first hardcore act to chart an album on iTunes. Switching to breakbeat hardcore CLSM moved away from the regular hardcore culture before releasing 'Return to the Unexpected' on Hardcore Underground recordings in 2012 which remained their biggest selling cd for several years.
Other projects include current bassline act 'FooR' with founding CLSM member Gavin Foord. FooR mixed Pure Garage, which reached number 9 in the compilation chart, Fresh by FooR is the current Coors light advert.
