Joseph Kay was born in Iran and moved to America in the year 2000 at just ten years old, stepping into a completely new world without knowing a single word of English. What could have been a barrier became the fuel for his determination. As he adjusted to a new culture, new expectations, and a new language, he found escape and expression in music. Over time, that escape turned into a passion, and that passion evolved into a calling. Through years of studying sound, practicing vocals, and experimenting with different styles, Joseph eventually discovered his voice as an R&B singer — a voice shaped by the contrast between where he came from and where he was determined to go. What makes Joseph even more unique is his independence: he produces most of his own music and handles the mixing and mastering himself, crafting every layer by hand.
