Josh Jones co-founded two notable bands between 2005 and 2014 before muting his music output until 2022. The Sessions won the world’s largest battle of the bands in 2006 with Jones on vocals. Emergenza pitted nearly 8,000 of the brightest unsigned bands from 16 countries against one another that year and Jones won that in Germany with The Sessions. Their most acclaimed song “18 Candles” has been streamed over a million times on Spotify and has had placements in tv shows Keeping With The Kardashians, Pawn Stars and the mountain biking film Seasons.
After The Sessions Jones co-founded Stars Blvd who beat out almost 500 groups to win Fox Seeds, the then annual competition held by Vancouver radio station CFox, which had been won years earlier by Nickelback. That win earned Stars Blvd representation by The Agency Group, which led to a 15 show tour opening for Grammy nominated Buckcherry and opening gigs for Deep Purple, Avenged Sevenfold, Steel Panther and more.
Trevor Kidd has recorded with members of multi-platinum selling bands Billy Talent & Sum 41, performed live with Randy Bachman (Guess Who, BTO) as well as Tal Bachman, opened for April Wine, appeared on the popular Canadian TV show CBC's Dragons' Den & received high praise from iconic seventies all-girl rock band the Runaways lead singer Cherie Currie.
