Rotterdam based musician and producer Joshua Bredow grew up with music all
around him. His father played the keys and sang, the house he lived in was full of
portraits of musical heroes like Prince and Jimi Hendrix and he formed several
bands with childhood friends. The piano was the first instrument he learned to
play, but he eventually fell in love with the guitar. Nowadays Joshua is part of a
great deal of live acts, able to display his skill and talent as guitarist on stage. But
he also loves to produce music on his own, using mainly his guitar, keyboard and
singing voice. His inspirations range from the dreamy thaifunk of Khruangbin and
the wavy guitar sounds of Mac DeMarco, to the jazzy hiphop of Tom Misch and
the high vocal melodies of Tame Impala. Drawing inspiration from these genres
and artists Joshua creates a unique musical mix in his diverse work.
