'Juan Alban's Guilt Zone' is the new album by Juan Alban. Juan is best known as the lead vocalist and principal songwriter for Aussie indie darlings Epicure who had 4 songs make the Triple J hottest 100 between 2003 & 2005. After 4 albums with Epicure, Juan embarked on a solo career. In Juan's words "When I set out to make this album I really wanted it to have a 'Juan & friends vibe'... and what incredibly talented friends I have!". Produced by long-time collaborator Cameron McKenzie (from Mark Seymour's Undertow) The Guilt Zone showcases some stellar guests, including Olaf Scott (Teskey Brothers Band) on keys, Sam Boon (Skyscraper Stan and the Commission Flats) on sax, Nic Ryan-Glenie (Owelu Dreamhouse) on trumpet and the most exquisite vocals of rising star Daisy Kilbourne. All of which complement Juan's top tier songwriting, one minute, biting and cynical: the next, mournful and melancholic.
