Crafting instrumental music for over three decades, June in Winter delivers a depth of creativity, simplicity, and craftsmanship modeled after the beautiful storminess of this life. Inspired by the might and majesty of the Ocean that parallels our journey through this life, they push the envelope of how beauty and suffering can be represented by overlaping guitar melodies & arpeggios, multiple layers of transition & rhythm-driven instrumentals. Their first demo was released on cassette only in 1998 under the name Barron Silas Greenback. That demo lead to them filling in for Further Seems Forever at a maxed beyond capacity show in Myrtle Beach. Greenback broke up shortly after and reformed with new members as The Paradise War. Multi-instrumentalist Joel Conner continues to craft songs of the same fashion as those initial iterations.
