Junior Campbell is a Scottish singer, songwriter, composer, and record producer best known as a founding member of the pop group Marmalade. Born in Glasgow in 1947, Campbell co-wrote and played lead guitar on several of Marmalade's biggest hits, including the UK chart-topping "Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da" and the classic ballad "Reflections of My Life." His distinct guitar style and harmonizing vocals helped define the band's signature sound in the late 1960s and early 1970s.

After leaving Marmalade in 1971, Campbell pursued a successful solo career, releasing hits like "Hallelujah Freedom" and "Sweet Illusion." As a talented composer and arranger, he later shifted focus to writing music for television and film, earning acclaim for his work on popular British children's series like "Thomas & Friends." Campbell's compositions, often characterized by their melodic richness and emotional depth, have earned him a lasting legacy in both pop music and beyond.
