Junior Taurus

Platinum-selling and multi-award nominated DJ/Producer, Tshepo Mosidi better known as, Junior Taurus was born in the heart of Rustenburg and raised in Pretoria, South Africa.

Junior Taurus is also an entrepreneur in which he co-founded the now defunct, “CapCity Records” which formerly housed rappers and songwriters, <a href="spotify:artist:002eDhqXlxtQHdaIKXyf3H" data-name="Blaklez">Blaklez</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:1W3jl7zm01F49ZeqM9gK27" data-name="N&#39;veigh">N&#39;veigh</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:7KAvy18LeTZXBZhYxfqN3l" data-name="PDOT O">PDOT O</a>, and many others. Since the establishment of his musical career, Junior Taurus has managed to gain himself over 5 South African Music Award nominations as well as 2 Metro FM award nominations which further led to the birthing of his own sub-genre namely known as “Broken Beats” which is an influx of street-based genres such as ‘Bacardi’ and much more.

It was in 2023 when Junior Taurus received the opportunity to formally contribute to one of <a href="spotify:artist:23zg3TcAtWQy7J6upgbUnj" data-name="USHER">USHER</a>’s remixes for his own hit single &#34;<a href="spotify:album:5FCCJIcpppCJI3qIPAhgbG" data-name="Ruin">Ruin</a>&#34; in which he topped the charts across various radio stations around the world.

He has since collaborated with <a href="spotify:artist:0sM7FwErwjz5398unDovKH" data-name="Jubsta">Jubsta</a> to release their 5 track EP titled &#34;<a href="spotify:album:0M0aRUNaNKniHb3EmNnS4u" data-name="The Ritual">The Ritual</a>&#34; in October 2024.
