DJ Mizz hails from a small village in the Eastern Cape known as Centane. DJ Mizz has spent most of his career in music as producer and is locally and internationally known for producing Afro, Tribal, Funk & House music As a DJ his sets are a strong Afro Influence.
In his short career Mizz has already worked both locally and internationally with artist such as DJ Merlon & Mondli Ngcobo, Sphectacula & DJ Naves, Khaya Mthethwa, Mpumi, Shota, Cuebur, Rabs Vhafuwi,Nikos Diamantopoulos, Demor Sikhosana,Thibo Tazz, Beaternberg to mention but a few.
Mizz is the co-producer of “Koze Kose"which in 2015 took over the South African Airwaves and charted at no.1 on almost every station in South Africa.
He is also a co-producer of “Counting Your Blessings" which was collaboration with Rabs Vhafuwi. Similarly this track charted on all major radio stations and is still a crowd pleaser on any dance floor.
In 2016 Mizz Released his first full body of work in the fem of the Album “Never Stop Dreaming”. The album is a reflection of Mizz’s journey translated through Music.
This release made Mizz to be reckoned in the commercial South African house music scene as well globally in the Afro House scene.
In early 2017 DJ Mizz was nominated in the Best Remix Catergory at the Metro FM Awards for his song titled Close To You (Bob Ezy ft. Sanai Mizz afro Remix) and in the very same year he was nominated for Remix of the year in the South Africa Music Awards.
