Justina Jaruševičiūtė is a Lithuanian composer based in Berlin. After obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree on Sound Design and Engineering at Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre, and working for two years managing and organizing classical music concerts at Klaipeda Concert Hall, Justina relocated to Berlin in 2018, where she devotes herself entirely to composing ever since.
In 2021 she released her critically acclaimed debut album "Silhouettes", with ten pieces for string quartet. Later she composed "Into the Deep" for violin and cello (2022), "Midnight Rain" (2022) for Signum Saxophone Quartet that was premiered at Vilnius National Philharmonic, also "Ramadi" (2023) for a string quartet and oud, commissioned by Arabic Divan. Justina's new composition "Selenophobia" will be premiered on February 2024.
