For K-BRWN, music has always come naturally to him. Since the days of watching musical idols like Tuface Idibia achieve international acclaim from Nigeria; he knew right away that music was what he wanted to do. Where he grew up in Nigeria, in a household full of doctors and lawyers, however, a career in professional songwriting—or any career other than doctor or lawyer for that matter—was incomprehensible. Ultimately, he chose to become a lawyer. Even while pursuing his Law degree in London, however, K-BRWN continued songwriting professionally for various artists, publishing companies, and record labels.
He has worked with various top producers and artists in Europe including Laurentiu Duta of Romanian legendary band 3 Sud-Est, Dony, and German house music duo Malu Projects.
K-BRWN’s immense hard work and talent has seen him sign publishing deals with top Romanian record label Cat music/EMI, German record label Mental Madness, and Blanc Y Negro in Spain etc.
K-BRWN teamed up with Dremo to write the sensational afropop song titled “Superhero”.
K-BRWN is a unique artist that transcends different genres of music- from pop to moombahton to house music, and now Afropop.
K-BRWN’s music is inspired by all the countries he has lived in, his relationships, politics and his personal struggles as a Nigerian trying against all odds to make the music that he loves. His goal is to use his music to inspire African liberalism and reshaping the views on African masculinity.
