2002年9月5日生まれ。広島県出身。
15歳の時、自身の夢を追いかけ単身上京。YouTubeチャンネルにてカバー動画をアップし、注目を集める。
2021年4月放送TVアニメ『Vivy -Fluorite Eyeʼs Song-』にて主人公の<a href="spotify:artist:0yJlj2EYshHk9BWkEAR15k" data-name="ヴィヴィ(Vo.八木海莉)">ヴィヴィ(Vo.八木海莉)</a>の歌唱を担当し話題を呼び、
2021年12月18日、初のオリジナル楽曲「@Ripe Aster」配信リリースにてデビュー。

Kairi Yagi moved to Tokyo alone at age 15 to pursue her dream, quickly gaining popularity on YouTube from song covers.
Her singing as the main character <a href="spotify:artist:0yJlj2EYshHk9BWkEAR15k" data-name="ヴィヴィ(Vo.八木海莉)">ヴィヴィ(Vo.八木海莉)</a> from April 2021 TV-anime series "Vivy -Fluorite Eyeʼs Song-" was widely acclaimed, earning the No.1 spot on RecoChoku newcomers download charts for the first half of 2021.
She marked her debut with her first original single, "<a href="spotify:album:1XOox7JDI5QrOjpi6SI4tm" data-name="Ripe Aster">Ripe Aster</a>," on December 18, 2021.
Since debut, she has collaborated with various artists such as Atsushi Horie(<a href="spotify:artist:4q5fHrf0Q0R6imQ3etjXEG" data-name="Straightener">Straightener</a>), NAOTO(<a href="spotify:artist:4upiYMjsFfLRieGo8RVRzD" data-name="ORANGE RANGE">ORANGE RANGE</a>),and　<a href="spotify:artist:09sIEZ75poO3BQBaQ7EfGm" data-name="Pop Never Dies">Pop Never Dies</a> etc., and released a new EP "Sukoyaka DE Itai" in February 2023.
