Justo J Carrion known as Kamakazi, was born in 1972 on the Island of St. Croix in the US Virgin Islands, he started his career as a radio disc jockey in the early 90's but later left St. Croix in 1993 to join the Reggae band Regal Roots in Farjado, Puerto Rico. There, he presented a demo to Pedro Merced, owner of B.M. Record Distributors, which attracted the attention of former Puerto Rican rap star Ruben DJ who signed him to his record label Empakk Records.
Just as he was enjoying his accomplishment his life took a 180-degree turn when he was dropped from the label due to the label's prior bad investments. He then had to return back to the US Virgin Islands but later returned back to Puerto Rico to record on several street albums. After talking with a friend from Farjado, rapper "Mexicano 777" he was then introduced to reggaetón pioneer DJ Playero. In 1997 he recorded songs "Bandera","Heads up", and "Enemy Enemy" at DJ Playero's studio, this lead to the request for him to fly to New York City to record with Mexicano 777 for the iconic rap album "Boricua Guerrero/First Combat".
He then signed to the label Boricua Guerrero Productions in 1998 working as a Artist and Music Producer participating in the album "Entre el bien y el Mal" and "Boricua Guerrero/Mision 2
Finally, after several years out of sight, he found that his audience was still ready to support him as he vowed to show his fans that he will continue to record independently.
