Karl Tore Jakob Stenseke is a music producer and philosopher born in Sweden. Between 2009-2012 he played guitar and saxophone in the grammy nominated band <a href="spotify:artist:1SbQz8tWT1jtHPGBVcpMDb" data-name="Zekes">Zekes</a>, giving more than 400 shows all over Scandinavia. In 2012 he released his first self-produced indie-pop album as <a href="spotify:artist:0V3ENqJHSf9tIfYvuzxlNW" data-name="The Key Key">The Key Key</a>. Since then he has released two LPs and an EP with Malmö-based indie band <a href="spotify:artist:0xotXGChixeJvfRgpc8wcu" data-name="Feelium">Feelium</a>. His solo-project was resurrected as Karl Jakob with the release of the EPs "Pippi is dead. And we killed her" (2019) and "Floating heads in the sky" (2020). For the last 3 years, a series of releases have culminated in the debut album - "Mayfield Mead✺ws" - an eclectic mix of ballads and beats, electronic and baroque, singer-songwriter heart-ache, and unorthodox experiments.
