Sundaug is the stage name of Philly-based guitarist and composer Steve Bonitatibus.
From the acoustic foundations of “Empyrean Fantasy” (2013) and “Nocturnality” (2015) to the expansive rock arrangements of “To Bloom, To Wither” (2017) and rhythmic energy of “Erase Me” (2024), Sundaug’s catalog explores the emotional possibilities of instrumental music, blending fingerstyle guitar, electronic textures, and post-rock influences.
His fifth full-length album, “Till the Stars Expire,” brings these threads together through a collection of instrumental rock compositions that “masterfully explore the contrast between intimacy and vastness” (Rock Fueguino).
