Karma for Vandals was founded in early 2017. After having been active in Edinburgh’s music scene for a number of years as part of assorted bands, ensembles and productions, we decided to focus on creating an immersive live show through a combination of samples and performed music. Working in Edinburgh, Dundee and Aberdeen has allowed the lineup to solidify to include other music students from Aberdeen university, which has given us the chance to experiment with multiple genres including Post-Rock, Shoegaze, Psychedelic, Funk and Grunge. Karma for Vandals often incorporates visual media into their live shows, furthering the instrumental impact. The use of colour and lighting over transitioning images reflects the diversifying soundscape, adding to the overall live experience.
