bad boy kash. As he is fondly called is a fast rising West African music act. Having lived and grew up in the region, KashBwoy blends Ghanaian elements with Nigerian chord progressions and patterns. He gives that original West African vibe that puts you on a non-stop mood. He found a way to fuse Afrobeat, Hiplife, Hi-Life and Dancehall music together to make what he calls “Fun music”.


Born Kingsley Ulohomuno Okedi to farmer parents. His earliest memories include assisting his parents and siblings with farm work and selling farm produce at the local markets and street hawking.


He grew up listening to all kinds of music including rap and gospel. His sound brews all the way from growing up in the suburbs of Delta state, Nigeria to studying and living in cities like Lagos, Accra, Lomè and Tema.


KashBwoy’s dream is to take his sound from West Africa to the world believing in originality and the creativity in his roots. He believes his music has a place in the scenes and he’s here to stay believing in his long term dream.
