Electronic music artist Kashuks (Kaspars Kubeckis) was born in 1991. He started making music for fun, but in several months it transformed into something more serious. From 2009 till 2012, he made beats for many well-known Latvian hip hop artists. Since then, he has mastered his production skills and is now able to intricately weave together multiple genres from electronic, downtempo, hip hop, melancholy and chill, to experimental style, creating truly mesmerizing pieces. On 17 August 2012, he released his first studio debut album called "Piece Of A Chance", that finally captured the sound he was searching for years. On 8 September 2013, he released his second studio album, which was later nominated at the Annual Latvian Music Awards ceremony “Zelta Mikrofons” (Golden Microphone) in the category of the "Best Electronic Music Album". Following that two more albums were released - "Piece of a Chance, Pt.3" in 2014 and "FICTION" in 2015 (which also was nominated in "AUSTRAS BALVA"), both received Latvian "Best Electronic Music Album" award. In May 2019 Kashuks releases his latest album "LOST ECHO" that got awarded in Golden Microphone as well and got nominated in "AUSTRAS BALVA".
