Kay T

Kay-T is a UK born Ghanaian artist, award winning video director and CEO of Hawk Eye Cinema under the alias KTO. He first stormed in the industry with his trap song “Teeshi” in 2017. After garnering a lot of attention, he took some time off to hone his craft while shooting music videos for other mainstream artists like Medikal, Magnom, Odunsi, Darkovibes etc in the meantime. He dropped the back log of songs he had recorded in 2 separate projects in 2019 (Kay-T EP & Splash Brothers) “to clear the slate and have a fresh start” , he said. He then came back in 2020 and since then soared through the scene with smash and charting songs like Ghost and Obi Ne Yem
Kay-T is heavily influenced by anime, Dragon ball Z and Naruto especially and this influence can be heard in some of the references he makes in his songs and beat choices. You can further see this influence in how he directs and edits his music videos. His song AOT he dropped in 2021 has had an amazing reception by the anime community worldwide especially in TikTok. Safe to say his fans in Ghana and the rest of the world are always on the lookout for what this multi-talented artist is up to next.
