Over the last 25 years, Stereophonics have been a mainstay on radio & arena stages, writing anthems that are etched into the heartlands of the public’s consciousness like few others. Following on from Stereophonics’ 8th UK Number One album ‘Oochya!’ & sold-out stadium & arena tour with 2 sold-out nights at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium, Kelly had recent success with his Americana-influenced album Far From Saints. The project, comprising of Kelly with Dwight Baker & Patty Lynn of The Wind and The Wave, received critical success last year, debuting in the top 5 on the UK Official Albums Chart & topping the UK Official Americana & Country Artists Albums Charts.
‘Inevitable Incredible’ is a brand-new studio album that sees Kelly writing primarily on the piano for the first time. Recorded on a remote island in Norway, the album sees Kelly step away from the comfort of Stereophonics & explore emotion & vulnerability. The album features 8 incredibly evocative cinematic songs, all with live vocal & piano plus stunning orchestral strings.
Kelly says: ‘The remote surroundings of the island studio allowed the songs to come to life & breathe, no distractions, it was such a new experience. There were no expectations for how the songs should sound. Just let the emotion and vulnerability I put into writing those songs come to life."
