The Cheap Thrills story begins in North Liverpool and takes in support tours around the UK and Europe alongside the likes of The DMA’s, Jamie Webster, and The Night Café. It reaches its most recent climaxes with a headline show at Liverpool’s historic Olympia Theatre and a pair of chaotic, vastly over-subscribed sets at Glastonbury 2025.
Along the way, they’ve caused chaos at secret hotel-room pop-up shows and carnage in local boozers (watch here).
A steady succession of self-released singles has seen The Cheap Thrills pricking up ears on both sides of the Atlantic, earning support from BBC 6Music and Radio X, as well as spins from Sirius XM and KX93.5 in the US — plus high-profile Spotify playlisting in the likes of Hot New Bands, The Indie List, and Proper Belters.
Their single “Codependence” proved a tearaway hit and was selected to soundtrack Liverpool FC’s European kit campaign, reaching an audience of LFC fans worldwide.
The second half of 2025 saw the band sell out 1,500 tickets in under 12 hours for their November headline show at Liverpool’s Grand Central Dome, before heading out on a six-date UK tour with The Slow Readers Club.
The Cheap Thrills’ 2026 festival diary has so far confirmed appearances at Neighbourhood Weekender in Manchester and Cheshire’s Together Again.
