Rising from the streets of the Bronx, yet delivering a distinct Southern sound, rapper and songwriter Kid Tris lays his introspective rhymes atop smooth trap beats, resulting in a hybrid sound capturing listeners all across the East Coast.
Influenced by artists such as J. Cole, Young Thug, and Drake, Tris began his music career in his bedroom mid-2018.
Kid Tris is gradually building up his following through his mystique music, features in official Spotify playlists, and two studio albums which paint beautiful sonic landscapes.
His 2018 EP "Silence" deals with the pain of depression, loneliness, and anxiety. Silence maintains a lo-fi hip-hop cadence throughout all five songs.
In 2019, he released his tape Broken. The album's lead single, Jaded, garnered just under 150K plays on Spotify, along with Alone, Who You Love?, and Afraid claiming 137K, 77K, and 47K streams, respectively.
Later that year, Tris released "Deserto", which is his most sonically diverse project yet.
