Lawal sharafa Afolabi popularly known as king Porsh is a fast rising Nigerian singer/songwriter from Lagos State. He started his musical journey when he was in Jss 1 and his obsession with rap music made him popular during his secondary days. He never knew he had the voice to sing cos he was always rapping, but he found his true calling in 2018.
King Porsh is a very talented and skilled musician, he sings afrobeats, Afro soul, Afro swing and so much more. His freestyles are powerful and he’s a one-take god.
King Porsh released “Machala” in November 2021 in order to get Wizkid’s attention but he didn’t, but the song went viral and it’s one of his biggest releases today (Wizkid effect lol).
He believes that if he’s given the chance and the audience, he’s going to be one of the biggest artiste/songwriter Nigeria ever produced.
