Hailing from Zurich, Switzerland, King Zebra is a Melodic Hard Rock powerhouse making waves in the international rock scene since 2017. Led by charismatic frontman Eric St. Michaels, a seasoned veteran of rock ’n’ roll and former singer of China, the band has built a reputation for their electrifying sound and dynamic shows.
Originally from New Jersey, Eric settled in Switzerland over two decades ago, bringing soulful vocals and rich experience to the group. With King Zebra, he embarked on a new journey to carry melodic hard rock into the modern era.
The band gained attention in 2019 with an EP, followed by performances at major festivals like Rock the Ring alongside Lynyrd Skynyrd and Uriah Heep, as well as stadium shows with Alice Cooper. Their 2020 album Survivors, produced by Oscar Nilsson, led to sold-out European tours.
In 2023, King Zebra signed with Frontiers Records and released Between The Shadows the next year, touring Europe with The Gems and across Switzerland. In 2025, they appeared at the Riverside Festival, shared stages with Hammerfall and Kissin’ Dynamite, and joined Shakra’s 30th anniversary show at Z7 in Pratteln. Later that year, they returned to Bohus Studio in Gothenburg to record new material.
King Zebra’s mission remains clear: to keep the flame of Melodic Hard Rock alive and inspire audiences worldwide through powerful music and unforgettable live shows.
