岸田教団＆THE明星ロケッツとは、2007年、東方アレンジサークルとして同人活動していたリーダー岸田の
呼びかけにより軽い気持ちで結成。ライブ一度限りで解散するはずだったがなぜか今日に至る。
2010年にTVアニメ「学園黙示録HIGHSCHOOL OF THE DEAD」の主題歌「HIGHSCHOOL OF THE DEAD」でメジャーデビュー。同人活動と並行しながら、その後も「ストライク・ザ・ブラッド」「GATE（ゲート）自衛隊、彼の地にて斯く戦えり」「とある科学の
超電磁砲T」など多くのアニメ主題歌を担当。2021年に、これまで担当したアニメ主題歌を集めたベストアルバム「異世界転生したらベストアルバムでした。」、ライブアルバム「Super Pro Max Ti」をリリース。
2022年にはTVアニメ「転生したら剣でした」オープニングテーマ「転生したら剣でした」を担当。

Kisida Kyoudan & THE Akebosi Rockets was formed in 2007 by Kisida, the leader of the group, who was working as a member of a Touhou arrangement circle.
The band was formed in 2007 by the leader, Kisida, who was working as a member of a Touhou arrangement circle. The band was supposed to break up after only one live performance, but for some reason, it has continued to this day.
In 2010, they made their major label debut with "HIGHSCHOOLOFTHEDEAD", the theme song of the TV anime "HIGHSCHOOLOFTHEDEAD".
In parallel with his doujin activities, he has also been involved in "Strike the Blood," "GATE" and "Toaru Kagaku no Railgun T".
In 2021, 11 years after his major label debut, he will be releasing a best album of the anime theme songs he has sung.
