Kjwan has been a formidable force in the Philippine rock scene since their formation in 2003, earning a reputation for their raw energy, electrifying live performances, and uncompromising musicality. The band—Marc Abaya (vocals/guitar), Kelley Mangahas (bass), Eo Marcos (drums), and Louis Isok (guitar)—has continuously evolved, blending alternative rock, post-grunge, and experimental elements to craft a sound that is both powerful and distinct.

In 2022, the addition of guitarist Louis Isok ushered in a new era for Kjwan, reinvigorating their creative process as they embarked on the journey toward their next full-length release. This renewed momentum led to the unveiling of their latest material, including the hard-hitting single “Dahas” and the emotionally charged “Sa Huli”—both setting the tone for what’s to come.

With their upcoming single MSK dropping on April 20, Kjwan is gearing up for the next phase of their sonic evolution. As they continue to push boundaries and challenge expectations, the band remains one of the most enduring and influential rock acts in the country, driven by an unrelenting passion for music and a deep connection with their fans.
