The band was founded in March 2003 by fellow church members and Christian rockers Teddy Corpuz (on vocals) and bassist Christian Sindico. Drummer Jeff Cucullo and lead guitarist Juven Pelingon later on followed and joined the group.
In 2005, they transformed their music from Christian acoustic style to alternative rock. The spoken word element by vocalist Teddy Corpuz became Rocksteddy’s signature sound. They are known for their popular singles "Gising Na," and the Close Up single "Smile at Me”, “Lagi Mo na Lang Akong Dinededma” and “Superhero” official theme of ABSCBN’s tv show “Super Inggo”.
Recently, they also released their latest album – “Ang Album na may pinakamahabang pamagat”. Included in this album is their single - U.T.I, this track has reached 1 million views on Youtube in just a few weeks.
