Kokoro Disco San is a musical collective devoted to walking the blurred lines that divide disco, funk, boogie and house. It’s informed by three musicians - producers: Lalo López, Miguelito Superstar and Javier López aka Thompson.
Thompson and Miguelito met djing in Marula, a club in Barcelona in which both were resident djs. Finding they both shared a love for a good beat they started working on a remix for Fundación Tony Manero, a disco spanish band founded by Lalo and Miguelito. They called Lalo to join them and lay some guitar tracks and all that ended up with them working on new a couple of songs ("Isla Fantasía", "Sonic Feeling") which would be finally released in 2019 on Rocafort Records. The 12” was a small success and sold out which encouraged them to keep on producing new songs.
