Kolton Moore & The Clever Few are back with their sixth studio album, A Place That I Call Home (Sept 26, 2025). Produced by GRAMMY-winner Matt Ross-Spang (Jason Isbell, Margo Price), the record finds the Texas five-piece reflecting on rowdy teenage nights, mental health struggles, and the joys of fatherhood—ultimately redefining what “home” means after years on the road.
The soulful single “Self Destruct” highlights the band’s blend of big-hearted twang and grit, praised by outlets like Holler, Whiskey Riff, and Glide Magazine. With hundreds of millions of streams, and songs featured on Yellowstone and American Idol, the band has grown from road warriors playing 250 shows a year to seasoned storytellers with hard-earned perspective.
Frontman Kolton Moore, joined by Ryan Wilcox (lead guitar), Matt Gumley (bass), Sam Jones (keys), and Aaron Dowd (drums), crafts music that balances raw honesty with Southern soul. As Moore says: “The road has always been my home, but so is my daughter. So is my wife. Whenever they're with me, wherever we are, I'm home.”
The band kicks off their headlining The Place That I Call Home Tour on October 9 in Birmingham, AL, with stops in Nashville, NYC, Atlanta, Chicago, and more. Vinyl and tour info available at koltonmoore.com
