大阪府出身のアコースティックギタリスト。
オープンチューニングやタッピング奏法を駆使した、独特のギターアレンジやパーカッシブで迫力ある演奏と、繊細で暖かい音色が共存するステージは、世代を超えて多くの人々に支持を受けている。
2002年07月10日メジャーデビュー。同年10月全米メジャーデビューを果たす。
毎年スイスで開催されている「モントルージャズフェスティバル」には2002年から3年連続出演、近年ではアジア各国での公演も積極的に行うなど、海外での評価も高い。
ソロアーティストとして全国ツアーなどのライブ活動を中心に、映画音楽、番組テーマ曲、CM音楽などの作曲も手掛けるなど、幅広いスタンスで活躍中。

He made his debut into the mainstream market on July 10, 2002. In October of the same year, he made his debut into the American mainstream.
He performed at the annual Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland for three consecutive years from 2002. In recent years, he has put on numerous live performances throughout Asia and receives accolades from around the world.
While focusing on domestic concert tours as a solo artist, his career comprises a wide variety of activities, including composing scores for movies, TV programs, and commercials.
