Fingerstyle Guitarist
Born in 1993 in Sapporo, Hokkaido, currently based in Sendai, Miyagi.
Started playing classical guitar at the age of 13 and began sharing performances on YouTube at 14, which marked the beginning of his musical journey. Using a single guitar to express a wide range of techniques, he creates music that feels both nostalgic and urban.
In 2014, he received the Audience Award at the final round of the Fingerpicking Contest hosted by Moridaira Musical Instruments.
Since officially launching his career as a guitarist in 2019, his social media following has grown to over 150,000 as of 2024. In 2023, his signature model guitar, the HOC-NORTHBIRD, was released by Headway Guitars under his full supervision.
He has recently expanded his activities to include composing and producing music for TV shows, stage productions, and film. He also releases music under the solo project Mu Ted, blending fingerstyle guitar with lo-fi hip-hop elements.
After relocating from Tokyo to Sendai in 2023, he now works across three cities—Sapporo, Sendai, and Tokyo.
