Franklin Edward Harris best known by his stage name Skinnyboi Kpanto is a Liberian Afrobeat artist, songwriter and producer. Born in Diecke, Liberia Franklin attended Cavalry Chapel Mission High School in Liberia. Hailing from the humble streets of Monrovia, “Skinnyboi Kpanto” is a force to be reckoned with in Africa. Influenced by Afro Music and dominated by the groovy sound of Liberian drums, Kpanto’s music is guaranteed to make the average listener move. His debut album “Sound from the Streets” embodies his struggles, and experiences in Liberia. Composed of 15 powerful tracks, the debut album “Sound from the Xtreetz” is a mixture of his native tongue, afrobeat sound, and mainstream Hip-Hop shaped into Afrobeat music. His second studio album debuted at number 10 on the world music chart and solidified his name and status as the best Liberian artist of 2022.
