With a career spanning over two decades, Lars Skoglund has made a name for himself as the drummer behind some of Sweden’s most esteemed bands and artists. Skoglund got his start as a member of indie band <a href="spotify:artist:4chKPJr2tkdsT0ghHNSUi7" data-name="Laakso">Laakso</a> and quickly earned recognition on the Swedish music scene. Since 2008, Skoglund has held a prominent role as a musician and Musical Director of indie sensation <a href="spotify:artist:6oBm8HB0yfrIc9IHbxs6in" data-name="Lykke Li">Lykke Li</a>'s tours and albums; he’s a member of celebrated jazz group <a href="spotify:artist:47E6nlZGPwspT7lokggm4n" data-name="Oddjob">Oddjob</a> and buzzing rock trio <a href="spotify:artist:3ViFz6X6BXi67uDNvxQ30v" data-name="Gold Gold">Gold Gold</a> with <a href="spotify:artist:3P6ePaE5unCm7vjccfcBAe" data-name="Markus Krunegård">Markus Krunegård</a> and Petter Winnberg (<a href="spotify:artist:4cJKxS7uOPhwb5UQ70sYpN" data-name="Amason">Amason</a>); Skoglund also frequently plays with renowned bands like <a href="spotify:artist:0UOrN3LNaKApiOSdvJiETl" data-name="Shout Out Louds">Shout Out Louds</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:4goaddAeVzC9t8NV5oY9w7" data-name="Goran Kajfes Subtropic Arkestra">Goran Kajfes Subtropic Arkestra</a> , to name a few.
Skoglund released his solo debut La La Lars in 2017 to wide critical acclaim, following up with La La Lars II in 2019 and La La Lars III in 2021, which earned him a Swedish Grammy nomination.
