“An indie rock trio hailing from Huntington Beach, Lacker combines punk with the essentials of surf rock to showcase their ridiculous amount of talent and passion. Entering the scene early 2019, they have shown tremendous growth. They went from playing rowdy house shows to playing Queen Bee’s in November-their first San Diego show-and the Constellation Room with Sitting on Stacy and Joynoise to round out the year. 2020 is starting with a busy schedule for the boys, booking three shows in January with a spot on Blivet Bash to kick off a busy February.
Lacker released three singles in 2019, “Credit,” “Stuck,” and “Push.” The Frights are a key influence that can be heard in many of the instrumental rhythms of Lacker, easily heard in their latest release, “Push.” With Lacker gaining more exposure and growing as artists, the now trio-- lead vocalist Gavin Hanshaw, bassist Cole Jack, and Charlie Martin on the drums-- are currently working on their extended EP.”
