Lail Arad is a London-born singer and writer, known for her sharp lyrics, arresting voice and singular live shows. She has released two acclaimed solo albums, published a book of lyrics, toured extensively, opened for the likes of Television and Ezra Furman, had a baby, written a novel, not in that order.
In 2017 Lail teamed up with Canadian songwriter JF Robitaille, releasing a string of singles and touring extensively throughout Europe, Canada and India. Their songs were recently featured in the movie Tripped Up (Universal Pictures) and their full length duo album Wild Moves was released in June 2025.
Lail recently produced and curated 'The Songs Of Joni Mitchell', which debuted at the Roundhouse last year with guests including Vashti Bunyan, Jesca Hoop & Kate Stables (This Is The Kit). The show was picked up for a UK tour, which also sold out, and has just announced a longer run for Autumn 2025.
