Named for the maiden name of founder Nicola Rust's mother, Laing is an electro-pop group from Berlin, Germany. Formed in 2007, the band has a sound that combines three-part girl group R&B vocals with slick and minimal electronic production, making for a sort of <a href="spotify:artist:0dmPX6ovclgOy8WWJaFEUU">Kraftwerk</a> meets <a href="spotify:artist:1Y8cdNmUJH7yBTd9yOvr5i">Destiny's Child</a> vibe. Their first album, Paradies Naiv, arrived in March of 2013.
